Meeting with our agents #1

For our first interview with the Fartools agents around the world, we have had the great pleasure to meet with Toni KIRIN and Toni JEREB. Toni KIRIN has been in the company for 15 years, working as an executive manager of the compressors and tools divisions. Toni JEREB joined two years ago as an assistant for sales and aftersales. Both of them are very much involved in the collaboration launched in 2018 with Fartools.

Phygital era and business development

PROCHROM is a technical specialist operating in Slovenia but also in Bosnia and Serbia. The company initiates, manages and coordinates the relationships between manufacturers and retailers. Its cooperation with Fartools started in early 2018 after a short exchange on LinkedIn between PROCHROM’s general manager and Mathieu Guibert, Export Manager for Fargroup.

PROCHROM was following Fartools’ development and social networks simply made it easy for them to get in touch. After a meeting in Köln (Germany) during a fair trade, they initiated a promising cooperation. PROCHROM develops its own business on professional social networks like LinkedIn. They are both conscious of the significance and  the impact of a good communications strategy.

“We are fully aware that social media can help us to get in touch with potential customers. This new approach will probably transform the traditional distribution channel in a near future and we cannot forget it. We work on LinkedIn but not on Facebook and we probably won’t. Fartools also takes good care of its image and now develops online communication, mostly on French territory but also abroad to sustain a growing need for business."

A first distributor meeting

During the Fartools annual partners meeting in January 2019, about 30 partners met and discussed about the achievements of the past year. They also worked together on new stimulating projects: products pipeline, releases and expectations for the next year. Their first meeting with the other French and foreign partners obviously had a particular taste for Toni and Toni.

“We appreciated the hospitality and the fact that we can discuss about new ideas, projects and products” they confirmed. The involvement of the partners is, indeed, common sense for Fartools which always shows a strong will to cultivate good relationships. “It is great to get in touch with the people we talked to almost every day and not only by e-mails. We noticed that availability is a joint feature in the team, and it comforted our choice” Toni said.

A blossoming cooperation

The business development has been planned collectively. “During the past year, we covered the link to important chain sellers in our territory. We delivered all the information needed and also organized meetings. We succeeded in multiplying the approaches and signed contracts with one of the most important players on the market.”

PROCHROM is well-known as a distributor and agent for manufacturers in its country. Retailers agreed to open the door and give them a chance to present the right product to the right market. “It is the reward of years of hard work and investment, a team work, a collective effort which allows us to perform!”

Imagining the future

The technical nature of the products generates a need to try and test them. Toni would like to organise meetings with potential buyers to present them new ranges of products and make them able to try the tools in question.

“We have made a great progression this year and we would like to reinforce our cooperation with Fartools by developing sales. We already integrated important retailers, gave credibility to the brand and developed its reputation on the market. We now look forward to contracting with other important players on the market to strenghthen the brand on our market and satisfy our customers. We recognize that Fargroup is continuously developing its products and we are looking forward to being also in the future part of this history!”
